Class 6A
There is finally some stability in the 6A poll this week after consecutive weeks of the top-ranked team going down. Three of the top five teams defeated ranked 5A teams last week. Find out this week’s 6A poll below.
Class 5A
Three of the top five in the 5A poll lost last week. Third ranked Bishop Carroll lost on a late touchdown to 6A No. 2 Derby, Kapaun Mt. Carmel lost to 6A No. 4 Wichita Northwest, and Hays lost to 6A No. 1 Manhattan. Find out how these losses impacted this week’s 5A poll below!
Class 4A
Two-time defending champion St. James Academy lost a third consecutive game in the difficult Eastern Kansas League. The Thunder dropped its first four games last season before winning nine straight games and captured its second consecutive 4A state championship. Class 3A

Class 2A
Two-time defending champion Rossville dropped its second game – a high scoring game against Topeka Hayden. As a result, the Bulldawgs drop out of this week’s poll. Which new team enters the top five to replace them?
Class 1A
Class 1A has seen the most parity through three weeks. Several of the pre-season top-five have already suffered losses, and some have lost a couple of games. Most of these schools play challenging schedules against much bigger schools. This week’s poll includes more change and another new team enters the top five.

We have a new team in the 8-Man, Division I poll this week as last week’s No. 3 Clifton-Clyde lost 58-12 to 8-Man, Division II’s top-ranked Axtell Eagles. This classification is loaded with several teams worthy of a top five ranking. How does our poll shape up this week?
Class 8M-II
There is only a slight change in this week’s 8-Man, Division II poll this week. Last week’s third-ranked team, Thunder Ridge, suffered a 48-22 loss to powerful Hill City. Where did the Longhorns fall to in this week’s poll?
Class 6-Man
With only 25 teams playing 6-Man football this fall, we’ve had a lot of ranked matchups early on this season. That was the case last week as No. 2 Ashland defeated No. 3 Cheylin, 50-28. Find out how this week’s top five looks as a result at the link below.
