Kpreps.com and Kansas Pregame Magazine are proud to announce the 2011 All-District Teams for Class 2-1A.
With the expansion of districts in smaller classes, many of the traditional league contests are no longer played.
As a result, many of the leagues have had difficulty in naming All-League teams as not all coaches are able to see all their league opponents play.
Further, some leagues have disbanded and a number of teams either cannot play enough games to qualify for league honors or are playing independent of a league and don't have a method for seeing their players recognized.
For a second straight year, Kpreps.com and Kansas Pregame have worked with coaches around the state to name All-District squads for the 2011 season.

We attempt to solicit nominations from every coach in the 8M-I, 8M-II, and 2-1A classes through email, fax, and a posting on our website. Nominations are accepted from coaches and Kansas sports writers and teams are compiled based on those nominations, staff discussion, film study, live game analysis, statistical analysis and player comparison within the same district.
