Class 6A

Class 4A
Top-ranked Bishop Miege found itself in a battle with winless Blue Valley Southwest. The Stags eventually added a couple of touchdowns to win 41-28. Meanwhile, No. 2 St. Thomas Aquinas put together an impressive performance in winning at Rockhurst (Mo.). There is some movement in the 4A poll as previous No. 4 Wamego dropped a 41-40 decision at home to Mulvane. How will this result shake up week’s poll? Find out at the link below!
Class 3A
The showdown is set as No. 1 Andale will take on No. 2 Cheney this week. The Indians won their 30th consecutive game last week by beating Wichita Collegiate, 49-6. Class 2A
Top-ranked Sabetha survived some turnovers and a couple of late touchdowns by St. Marys to escape with a 21-18 win. Elsewhere, Marysville snapped Southeast of Saline’s regular-season win streak at 51 consecutive games as the Bulldogs won , 28-14.
Class 1A
Top-ranked Sterling rolled to a 91-0 victory over Sedgwick. Smith Center, ranked No. 2 last week, fell 30-12 to 2A contender Beloit. Click on the Rankings tab to find out the complete results of this week’s poll.

Class 8M-I
In 8-Man, Division I, there are still no changes this week as most of the top five rolled to blowout victories. Fifth-ranked Oswego outscored a much improved Yates Center team 66-56 behind 232 rushing yards and three touchdowns from Demitri Williamson. Class 8M-II
Each of the ranked teams in Eight-Man, Division rolled to 45-point victories in Week 4. This week shapes up to be a big week as Hanover hosts Frankfort (3-1), Axtell hosts unbeaten Troy, Little River travels to Stafford (3-1), and Hodgeman County hosts Pratt-Skyline (3-1). Class 6-Man
Top-ranked Weskan got a tough test from challenger Wheatland-Grinnell. The Coyotes held on for a 40-36 win, but the Thunderhawks opened the eyes of most of the state as a team to keep an eye on come playoff time.
