Klayton Adamson, RB, St. Mary’s Colgan

  • Rushed for more than 2,000 yards & a school-record 45 touchdowns in 2025
  • Helped the Panthers to a 10-1 record and state quarterfinal appearance

  • State track & field medalist

Wes Anderson, QB, Frankfort

  • 4-year starter at QB and multi-time all-state selection
  • Career Passing: 8,173 yards & 119 touchdowns
  • Career Rushing: 1,522 yards & 35 touchdowns
  • Eight-Man All-Star Game selection
  • 1,000-point scorer for the Wildcat basketball program
  • Bethany College football signee


Jesus Delgado, LB, Salina Central

  • Class 5A All-State selection at linebacker
  • Led the Mustangs to the 5A State Championship in 2025
  • 2025: 145 total tackles (81 solo); Career: 214 tackles, 21.5 tackles for loss
  • Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League Defensive Player of the Year
  • Shrine Bowl selection
  • Butler County Community College football signee


Zane Farney, RB, Sterling

  • Kansas Top-11 Selection
  • Class 1A All-State selection at running back
  • Shrine Bowl selection
  • 2025: Rushed for 2,326 yards & 42 touchdowns
  • Career: Rushed for 6,712 yards & 90 touchdowns
  • Led the Black Bears to the Class 1A State Championship in 2025


Carter Hajek, QB/RB/LB, Nemaha Central

  • Kansas Top-11 Selection
  • Class 2A All-State selection
  • Shrine Bowl selection
  • Career Rushing: 7,902 yards & 129 touchdowns (state record)
  • Career Passing: 2,012 yards & 39 touchdowns
  • Led the Thunder to Class 2A State Titles in 2025, 2023, & 2022 (Runners-up in 2024)
  • Emporia State football signee


Ian Premer, TE/DB, Great Bend

  • Premer (6-6, 230) was No. 1 rated tight end in the Nation (30-plus D1 offers)
  • Signed with Notre Dame for football
  • Receiving: (2025) 40 rec., 752 yards, 14 TDs; (Career) 105 rec., 1,869 yards, 31 TDs
  • Rushing: (2025) 620 yards & 14 TDs; (Career) 872 yards & 16 TDs
  • Defense: (2025) 69 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 6 INT, 2 defensive TDs

Matt Rosen, OL, Holcomb

  • Rosen (6-5, 300) was a three-year starter on the offensive line for the Longhorns

  • Overcame a season-ending injury as a junior

Savion Stone, QB, KC Washington

  • All-State selection as a QB/Athlete
  • Meadowlark Conference Player of the Year
  • Shrine Bowl selection
  • 2025: Passed for 2,263 yards & 25 TDs; Rushed for 1,404 yards & 21 TDs
  • Career: Passed for 3,734 yards & 40 TDs; Rushed for 3,301 yards & 40 TDs
  • Hutchinson Community College football signee


The award is in honor of Dylan Meier, a former All-State quarterback at Pittsburg High School and starter at Kansas State University who died in a hiking accident in 2010 at the age of 26. 

The award goes out to one Kansas high school senior who not only has shown excellence on the field but also has demonstrated the values that Dylan embodied and Get Busy Livin’ (GBL) strives to promote: adventure, fitness, curiosity and a daily zest for life experiences. 

The 16th annual GBL 5K Run, Friendship Walk, and Kids Fest is scheduled to be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Hutchinson Field in Pittsburg. The event is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
