KPOLL RESULTS
Q: Which school will have the most impact on their new classification next year?
The KSHSAA released the new classifications for next season and there are many interesting moves being made. Smith Center (moving from 3A to 2-1A) is out to an early lead with 37% of the vote. Don't count out McPherson (moving from 5A to 4A) and Hutchinson (moving back up to 6A) in this very interesting poll question. We'll leave it up for a few weeks to see if opinions change throughout the season.
Q: Which school had the most impressive win in Week 4?
We've talked a lot about how loaded last week's slate was. Garden Plain knocking off Conway Springs in OT as well as Thunder Ridge's win over Otis-Bison saw strong support in this poll. However, they were no match for the Plainville Cardinals late rally to knock of Smith Center 30-23. The Mid-Continent League game took in 57% of the vote in this question.
Last week we also asked where fans had it right over Kpreps in regards to the rankings and Plainville dominated this response as well. Almost 50% of respondents said that Plainville is on par with Meade and St. Mary's Colgan in Class 2-1A. The Cardinals definitely did a lot to help make the case.
