It's hard to believe we are already at week four in the high school football season.

What's even harder to believe is how exciting week four will be.

There are high-profile matchups in every corner and class of the state. Be sure to vote for your favorite in the current KPoll question, which will determine the Kpreps Game of the Week.

Here’s a quick rundown of this week’s action.

3A #4 Garden Plain (3-0) at 3A #1 Conway Springs (3-0)
Are the top-ranked Cardinals head and shoulders above the rest of class 3A? We’ll find out this week when they host arch rival Garden Plain. The question in this one is whether or not either offense can be stopped. The Cardinals and Owls are averaging 66 and 58 points per game respectively.

8M-II #3 Otis-Bison (3-0) at 8M-II #2 Thunder Ridge (3-0)
Thunder Ridge leaped over Otis-Bison in the Kpreps rankings after their week two win over Hanover. This game will show us if that move was justified.

5A #1 Blue Valley (3-0) at 5A #3 Bishop Miege (3-0)
Bishop Miege crushed Gardner-Edgerton in week three, 34-0, to jump two spots in the 5A rankings. The Stags will be the first real test for the defending champs.

4A #1 Topeka Hayden (2-1) at Washburn Rural (3-0)
Congrats to Hayden coach Bill Arnold who got career win 100 in week three. Victory 101 will be much tougher as the top-ranked Wildcats travel to Washburn Rural.

2-1A #5 Plainville (3-0) at Smith Center (3-0)
The Cardinals proved they are legit after pounding Norton 53-13 last week. Their reward is a match-up with the powerful Smith Center Redmen in a game that will likely decide the Mid-Continent League.

Galena (3-0) at 2-1A #2 St. Mary’s Colgan
The Panthers will get their toughest test of the young season when the Galena Bulldogs travel to Pittsburg. These two were only two points apart in the preseason CNC league voting.

Chetopa (3-0) at Sedan (3-0)
Sedan’s defense has only allowed 6 points all season. Chetopa is averaging 62 per game through the first three weeks. Something’s got to give.

Other deserving games that just missed the poll…

Blue Valley Northwest (2-1) at Aquinas (3-0)
Olathe South (3-0) at SM East (2-1)
Bishop Carroll (2-1) at Wichita Northwest (3-0)
Chanute (3-0) at Pittsburg (2-1)
Abilene (3-0) at Concordia (3-0)
Fort Scott (3-0) at Parsons (3-0)
Silver Lake (3-0) at Louisburg (1-2)
South Barber (3-0) at Pretty Prairie (3-0)
