The 29th Annual 8-Man All-Star games kick off this Saturday, June 7, at Beloit's Trojan Field with the Divsion I game player introductions at 9:30 a.m. and kickoff following at 10:00. The Division II game follows in the afternoon with 1:00 p.m. player introductions and the kickoff at 1:30.
A project of the Kansas Eight-Man Football Coaches' Association, organized by dozens of volunteers from the Beloit area, for the past three decades the 8-Man All-Star game has allowed some of the state's best 8-Man football players to put on the pads for one final time as a high school football player, and many for the last time ever, while others will use it as a full contact prep for their college football career.
Each squad of 20 players represents the East or West portion of the state in their respective Division.
