Bonner Springs has found its new head coach. Lucas Aslin was named the Braves head coach coming over from Garden City Community College to replace long time Bonner Springs coach Lew Kasselman who stepped down at the end of the season.
Aslin comes to Bonner Springs with experience as a high school and college head coach. Before going to Garden City to become first the defensive coordinator and then head coach in 2007, Aslin was the head coach at Derby, Kan., high school.
The Braves new coach is thrilled to be a part of the Bonner Springs school district and the community as a whole.
