Breaking down all of the rankings by class:

6A

No new teams to this week’s top five but a little bit of movement. 6A defending champion Wichita South remains at the top spot in this classification. Blue Valley moves back into the rankings this week at the ten spot.

5A

The top five remains exactly the same from last week in 5A girls. Salina Central, behind the play of Kansas State signee Shaelyn Martin, leads the way in the rankings once again. No new teams cracked this week’s top ten.

4A-I

Wamego girls have been the talk of this classification all season, behind the play of sisters, Kaylee and Lanie Page. The Red Raiders won the last title ever in the All-4A classification last year. This week’s top 10 remained identical from last week. Fort Scott (9-4), who took third in 4A last season, remains at the three spot despite losing to Labette County on Friday. Coffeyville Field Kindley (12-2), behind the play of Devin Cosper, is a team to look out for at the eight spot.

4A-II

No new teams to this week’s 4A-II top five. This brand new division is wide open at this point, but Burlington (1) and Santa Fe Trail (2) have seemed to be the front runners all season. Goodland (10) is the only new team to become ranked this week.

3A

If you looked at last week’s rankings than really no reason to look at this weeks, as it remains identical. Hesston remains at top spot in this classification with Riley County at the two spot. Hesston’s only loss this season came to the 4A-I #1 team, Wamego, in the Hillsboro Tournament. Same can be said for Riley County as they also lost to Wamego in the same tourney.

2A

Jeff County North seems to be a heavy favorite at this point of the season in 2A girls. All-State selection, Jacee Kramer, is putting up 22.5 points per game for the Chargers. JCN is beating opponents by an average of 38.9 points per contest. Meade is the only new team in this week’s top 10.

1A-I

Defending state champion, Hoxie, remains atop of this division. Valley heights (2), Thunder Ridge (3), Osborne (4) and MDCV (5) round out this week’s top five. The St. Paul girls are back in the top ten this week at the 10 spot.

1A-II

Bucklin is the only new team to crack the top five this week, moving up a spot to number five. No new teams cracked this week’s top five, just a little bit of movement from last week’s rankings.
